How Zapier Works

Zapier works by setting up automated workflows called “Zaps.” Each Zap consists of two parts:

1. Trigger: An event in one app that initiates the workflow.

2. Action: A task performed by another app as a result of the trigger.

You can integrate Splore AI engine capability with thousands of tools out there with Zapier. Here are few workflows that Splore currently supports.

1.  Automatically ingest new data from Confluence to Splore

   • With Splore <> Confluence Zap, you can automatically add new or updated blog post from your Confluence to Splore. No more needs for manual data ingestion, as this Zap will dynamically update your business knowledge in Splore.

2.  Create draft response with Splore AI engine in Gmail

   • Splore supports integration with your company's Gmail account. Simply activate the Zap so that you can enable this workflow.

     • Send customer support inquiry from your Gmail to Splore.

     • Splore AI engine will create draft response.

     • You can view this draft response in the same Gmail thread.

     • Make any edits (if necessary), and reply back to your user faster!

• Automatically Summarize and Create a New Confluence Page: This workflow involves using a Confluence page, summarizing its text with Splore, and then creating a new Confluence page to post the summary.

• Automatically Ingest Data from Confluence to Splore: Automatically add or update Confluence blog posts into Splore’s knowledge base without manual intervention, ensuring your business knowledge is always up-to-date.

• Create Draft Responses in Gmail with Splore: Integrate Gmail with Splore so that customer inquiries trigger AI-generated draft responses in the same Gmail thread, speeding up response times.

What if a Zap fails?

If a Zap encounters an error, Zapier will notify you immediately. You can also view error logs and replay the Zap after resolving the issue.

What if my API Key does not work?

If your API Key does not work, You can click the Regenerate option and try again with a different API Key.

Do I always need to Create a Conversation before Chatting With Splore ?

Yes, you cannot Chat with Splore without Creating a Conversation in Zapier.

Do I need coding knowledge to use Zapier?

No. Zapier provides a user-friendly interface that allows you to set up workflows without any programming skills.

Do I need to pay any extra money to integrate Zapier ?

Integrating Splore with Zapier doesn’t require any additional charges to Splore. Zapier offers both free and paid plans and payment will only be made to Zapier if you use those paid features.

Can I Create Multiple Actions and Triggers in Zapier ?

Yes, Zapier allows multiple actions within a single workflow, but multi-trigger workflows are not supported natively. What you can do is use Paths or Filters to define conditional logic.

Example:

• Trigger: New entry in a form.

• Path A: If the entry is a “customer inquiry,” create a conversation in Splore.

• Path B: If the entry is “feedback,” send it to a Google Sheet.
